My picks for fab ipod music

I truly enjoy a good tune. I can remember many, many songs from my youth. When I was growing up the A.M. radio was always on- crackling loud- real loud. The songs were so different then but, so was the world we lived in. Everyone should take a trip back in time and visit the tunes of yesteryear. This is easy to do now that there is Itunes and other various venues to log on to and explore.

My husband gave me an ipod for Christmas. I went right to itunes and started my search. Here is a list of must have favorites from years gone by:

1. Photograph by Ringo Starr- This song happened to be popular during my parents split therefore it is a sentimental favorite
2: Under Pressure by David Bowie/Queen- Yes this is the one that Vanilla Ice tried to copy.
3. Somebody to Love by Queen- Queen was a band of very gifted musical talent.
4. If You Could Read My Mind by Gordon Lightfoot- 70's love song at it's best
5. Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder- another musical master.
6. Peace Train by Cat Stevens- I know He's off his nut now and he goes by some other name and don't even get me started on his beliefs. Still, the song is great.
7. Bus Stop by the Hollies- If you never heard this while the dentist was drilling your teeth then you missed out.
8. I Was Made To Love Her by Stevie Wonder- Rock on, Stevie!
9. Everything I Own by Bread- Just a sweet song.
10. I've Been Searchin' So Long by Chicago- Lovely love song.
11. Beast of Burden by the Rolling Stones- The lyrics are questionable but the tune rocks!

I know, a list of 11, what can I say, that's the way I roll. Rock on my friends and have a great Tuesday!!
